It has been a season of change for Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing in 2023 and new owner-cum-driver Brad Keselowski has led the charge. Ever since he came into the team, they have been steadily improving and it all came to fruition at the end of the regular season this year. Keselowski may be out of the playoffs as a driver, but as a team owner, he is still in the fight to make Chris Buescher a maiden Cup Series champion. Hyping your championship contender up before a big event is always a good idea and RFK Racing has taken, well, let’s just say a unique approach.
Chris Buescher is one of the underdogs going into the round of 8. Against the likes of Kyle Larson, William Byron and Denny Hamlin, the RFK man may be in a bit of trouble. But then again, he has won as many races as Larson and Hamlin with three Cup series race wins to his name. So it looks like he does have the ability to shock his opponents and win a race.

The Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver will go into the round of 8 as a dark horse, but perhaps that will play to his advantage. The pressure of expectations is low. No one expected RFK Racing to reach this stage, so Chris Buescher has already done a good job. Now, it is all about going out there and having some fun.
“I think we’re not at a point where we [can’t] be ignored anymore. We’ve made it a long way this season. We’ve outrun a lot of what they considered favorites from the get-go on the year, and we’ve outrun them very consistently through the second half of the season – even a little more so,” the driver of the #17 said in an earlier interview.
But the only people having fun in the RFK Racing shop were their video editing and social media teams. The RFK Racing Twitter handle recently shared an extremely confusing yet funny meme video featuring three things: Chris Buescher, his hometown Prosper, Texas, and its population.

They did, however, achieve what they wanted with the video. Fans went absolutely wild as it came out. It is not common for massive sports teams to indulge in the internet’s meme culture. So when they do, fans absolutely love it.
And that is exactly what happened with the video. It’s safe to say that Chris Buescher might have a lot of fans in Las Vegas thanks to RFK Racing’s genius tactic. What is left to see is if the 30-year-old can make those fans happy on race day. As for now, those fans are quite happy on Twitter.

“Put this song on Spotify admin,” one fan said.
“This is just amazing,” commented another.
The comments section under this tweet was indeed crazy. While one fan urged RFK’s social media person to ask for a raise, another asked to play the Chris Buescher song at their funeral.
“Whatever they are paying you, ask for a raise,” commented one user
“Play this at my funeral,” penned another.

The song mentioned Chris Buescher’s hometown, Prosper, Texas a lot of times. This obviously inspired a few people to consider shifting.
“I might have to move to prosper Texas because Christopher Buscher,” one fan wrote.
