High-octane racing is not the only attraction that NASCAR offers; there are controversies, drama, and racers’ antics as well. And this is exactly what sets the sport apart from its competition. Drivers and their unique personalities and the raw aggression of racing add that extra heat on top of an already spicy dish.
And the fans are at it again! They are creating a ruckus over Brad Keselowski‘s recent tweet!
Keselowski had a souvenir for Tyler Reddick which he posted online tagging the driver. However, the #6 driver seems to have been unaware of the rant that followed his latest social media post.

And guess what, fans are going berserk over this!
Brad Keselowski’s sweet gesture quickly turned into an online war between fans
Following the exciting finish at COTA, Reddick garnered much praise from the community for his perseverance and technique. Keselowski being the sweet and humble guy that he is did not hesitate to show his appreciation for the growth the relatively younger driver has shown. The RFK Racing driver showed true sportsmanship when he posted a worn-out clutch set tagging Tyler, captioned, “From this, to the best Road Racer in NASCAR. Heck of a job @tylerReddick”

While the senior driver meant it as a show of support, fans did not resonate with this. Soon after the tweet was posted, fans started a spree of comments dismissing the younger driver. This eventually led to an online battle between Tyler Reddick fans and Chase Elliott admirers!

While Reddick fans did not hesitate to hit back.
Elliott hasn’t won a road course race since Cup moved to the Next Gen platform, while Reddick has racked up three wins in that timeframe.
Chase is a great road course racer, no doubt, but at this point he’ll have to earn the crown back once his leg heals.

While all this was going on, in a show of gratitude, Reddick wrote back to Keselowski, “Thank goodness for the sequential shifter.”

How did the race in COTA play out for Tyler Reddick?
While more experienced drivers found the relatively new road course bumpy and struggled on it, younger drivers were actually super-competitive. However, though the race was action-packed, many drivers and experts found the action to be a bit over the top. With race cars bumping into each other, especially on turns 1 and 11, the circuit certainly proved to be tricky.

However, the talented Tyler persevered on—surviving and holding his ground even after three overtimes and clinching his first victory of the season.

Even though Elliott fans are dismissing the 23Xl Racing driver, he certainly proved his mettle by executing his plans to perfection.
