Despite it being general knowledge at this point, there are still many fans, especially the new ones who find it hard to believe that NASCAR drivers poop and pee in their race suits. Drivers like Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Bubba Wallace have been some of the few drivers who have come out with ‘the truth’ on this subject.
On top of that, Brad Keselowski, albeit unintentionally, added another aspect to this subject during the Cup race in Texas.
“I’m getting out. I’ve got to go pee,” Keselowski told his crew during a break.

In an interview, Dale Earnhardt Jr. admitted that drivers “do go to the bathroom” when nature calls. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be the extreme measure to deal with it.
“If you can hold it, you hold it. If you can’t hold it, you go,” he said. “It’s not too often that this happens because the car is real hot and you sweat a lot and you basically lose all your water weight through sweating.”
If it’s a hot day and you get real nervous before the race and you drank too much water because you think you are going to dehydrate, you typically end up having to go to the bathroom before you even get the green flag.”

“WHAT?!” a puzzled Hart asked.
