This weekend marks the final race for Brad Keselowski in Team Penske colors. In 2022, he will race for Roush-Fenway Racing in the #6 car. Ahead of his last race for his long-time team, the #2 driver talked about a variety of subjects. This includes his boss, Roger Penske, and the role he played in his career.

He said, “Roger Penske’s willingness to work with me through that process was really pivotal to our success. I will never forget that time period. There were several key moments for me of self-realization at Team Penske, that this is going to become a dynasty. When we won the Bristol night race in 2011, it was a huge moment for me. When I got out of the car, he made the comment, ‘champions win this race.'”

According to the driver, there are times when people forget that NASCAR is a team sport. Despite that, every member of the organization plays an important role in making the race car fast. Keselowski confessed that he always gets a reminder of how important his team is.

Brad Keselowski revealed that before he signed for the team, he knew Roger Penske by reputation. His first memory of the team was when the Xfinity team enjoyed a lot of success, but the opposite was true for the Cup side.
