The past few days have been extremely difficult for Brad Keselowski and his family. This is because the Keselowski clan recently lost its patriarch, Bob Keselowski. Some time ago, his brother revealed that their father was ailing and in pretty bad shape. It was inevitable, but it was heartbreaking nonetheless.

Recently, Brad Keselowski dug up some old pictures for the sake of nostalgia. He confessed that the feeling is still sinking in and he ‘underestimated the pain’ of losing his father and hero. Without a doubt, Bob had a profound impact on his career and helped shape Brad into the man that he is.

Now, the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver has to find a way to move on from the tragedy. Without a doubt, he will want to perform well for his new team in honor of his father. At the moment, he is eagerly waiting for the final two Cup Series tests and the season to kick off in February.

What to expect from Brad Keselowski?

Admittedly, the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing team is not exactly a regular front-runner. However, since the Next Gen cars are taking everyone back to square one, there is a possibility of success. It also helps that Brad Keselowski performed fairly decently at the Charlotte Motor Speedway pre-season test.

Now, he will be aiming to carry forward that momentum to Atlanta and Daytona. Beyond that, there will be the agonizing wait for the first race at the LA Coliseum. This race will be really important because this is a brand new track and the new cars are tackling it first. So, right off the bat, there are two unknowns ahead of the Busch Clash at the LA Coliseum. From there, the 2022 season will progress and the pecking order will be established.
