Preece revealed that his team had diligently refined their strategies before the Daytona event. Leveraging their established performance at Daytona, they recognized the potential to maintain their competitive edge in the upcoming Darlington race.

“I really love this place. It’s one of my top three favorite racetracks we go to, but I have a lot to learn here. I’m still trying to be better when we come down here. Brad Keselowski has been very good and has been studying a lot of what he does here as well. He was very fast in qualifying and in the race earlier in the spring, so just trying to get ahead of that and trying to get ready for track conditions.”
