Brad Keselowski had a memorable outing at Atlanta Motor Speedway. After having to allow a last-lap pass, he saw his former teammate Joey Logano register his first victory of the 2023 season. Although Keselowski finished as runner-up—his best finish since joining RFK Racing—he was involved in a post-match incident with Denny Hamlin. He recently had his say on it.
The on-track rivalry between Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin is quite evident. In line with this, the latter bantered after an incident that happened last Sunday. Unsurprisingly, the RFK Racing driver had a subdued response to it.

The event took place just after Keselowski finished the Atlanta race and stepped out of his #6 Ford. He immediately rushed over to the porta-potties. After finishing sixth, even Hamlin headed over there. Funnily, out of the three, two looked occupied, and the one in which Keselowski was occupying looked available.
The former Team Penske driver missed out on locking the door, which Hamlin then tried to open, resulting in an awkward situation. Although the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was quick to shut it, it was a comical scenario. It only got more hilarious when Hamlin tweeted about it later.
His tweet was an indirect dig and banter as it said, “Smelled like Hawaiian Rolls when I got in there.”
Naturally, it was aimed at both Keselowski and his primary sponsor King’s Hawaiian. The 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion recently had a reply to it while speaking to FrontStretch. He said, “Oh my God, I guess I didn’t think it was that big a deal but I guess people have fun with different things.”
When asked if he interacted with Hamlin regarding the incident, Keselowski said, “No, I don’t think it was a big deal. I mean most weeks, we would pee in troughs so um, that’s 10 times better than that.”
That being said, Hamlin gave quite the statement months back to add more fuel to their rivalry.

In a conversation with Sports Illustrated, Hamlin accepted how he disliked as many racers as he liked. Obviously, he did not miss out on the chance to mention Keselowski in the disliked list given their bitter history.

It all started with their brawl in the 2008 NASCAR Xfinity Series at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Since then, the rivalry has never subsided. When Hamlin was asked if there were anyone who likes Keselowski, Hamlin said, “His parents. Probably.” Surely, the rivalry has more to offer in the coming days.
