Even though it has been scientifically proven, emphasized, and re-iterated time after time after time again, there are still some people who refuse to consider NASCAR a sport, and the drivers, real athletes.

In a reaction video from earlier this year, the former Mr. Olympia reacted to a video of Dale Earnhardt Jr. explaining to a few NFL players, the aspect of NASCAR drivers being athletes.

Bubba Wallace hopes his Netflix series changes the wrong notion of NASCAR drivers

Earlier this year, 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace and Netflix came out with a mini docu-series on the NASCAR driver’s rise to where he is today. The series was aimed at giving an all-access look behind one of the sport’s most polarizing figure’s life.

But at the same time, it was also an attempt to shed light, rather, new light on the athletic aspect of the sport.
