Taking place every year at Florida’s Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, The Amelia has now evolved into a world-renowned vintage car exhibition that honors the best in automotive design. This year’s celebration honored Billionaire NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, for his incredible success in the sport for four decades.

Hendrick Motorsports is a dominant force in the world of NASCAR, with 303 race wins and 14 championships. They displayed an amazing collection of cars at The Amelia Heritage, including the Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the 2023-24 Hours of Le Mans.

While celebrating HMS’s 40th anniversary and talking highly about the event, Hendrick said, “The wonderful success our organization has enjoyed has only been possible because of the many, many people who helped build it over the years. I look forward to experiencing The Amelia and sharing this very special honor with all of them..”

In this exclusive event, a lot of cars on display showed off their histories, but the best classic wasn’t from Rick Hendrick’s collection. Hendrick was humble and proud to be a part of the selection and showcased his emotion with “the 1931 Chevrolet stock car” that he built with his father.

Some of the other classic automobiles on display during the event included Hendrick’s car as well as a 1971 Porsche 911T, a 1948 Norman Timbs Special, and a 1927 Bugatti Type 37A.
