Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been on a drive for the last few months. A quest to bring back tracks and formats slipping into oblivion, back to the table. While running a race is helpful, that can only do so much. This time around, he brought out the big guns.

After months of rumors and reports, it was finally confirmed by the CARSTour Series that a new set of owners had taken them over. 4 new owners, to be precise, which include some of the very best of the best. Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kevin Harvick, Justin Marks, and Jeff Burton are going to be the new owners of the short-track series.

A long feature on the background of the takeover by Matt Weaver and the Short Track Scene lays out the entire story behind why these 4 gentlemen decided to make the acquisition. Being labeled as the Dream Team, they won’t be aiming to reinvent the wheel, but bring more awareness and attraction to Late Models.
