Brad Keselowski took on a big challenge when he moved away from Team Penske, a team where he spent almost the entirety of his NASCAR career, to take on a new role as a driver-owner in Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing. But instead of the collective expectations surrounding this move, this move isn’t panning out well for the driver or his team.
Of course, the results are there to be seen for Keselowski as a driver as he has struggled to deliver the results fans typically associate him with. However, now it seems the season is getting worse for Brad Keselowski the owner as well.

“Maybe he’s racing with a chip on his shoulder out there, tryin’ to show everybody, he’s going to turn Roush into the program it used to be.”
The penalty by NASCAR is undoubtedly a big blow for a team that is still finding its feet; still, in many ways, in its infancy. It’ll be interesting to see how Brad Keselowski and Co. bounce back and recover from this setback that could very well define their season.
