This is all possible because of the Next Gen cars, which were introduced at the start of the 2022 season. The 1080p HD resolution will enhance the viewing experience for the fans sitting all around the world.
NASCAR senior vice president and chief digital officer, Tim Clark, stated, “Our goal is to deliver an immersive experience for the most passionate fans in all of sports, no matter where they are.”
He also added, “We know the significant role second screens play in the overall viewing experience, so to provide live video from inside every car and alongside leaderboards, performance data, pit stats, live betting odds, and more is something we’re excited about.”
However, a certain amount of reactions is expected from the NASCAR community with this announcement. This new update to the streaming process will start from this weekend’s playoff race and will continue for the remaining of the races in 2022 season.

This is amazing, I’d really like to see them improve the radio chatter recording quality so I can actually understand what the teams are saying during a race
