With just three races to go until the playoffs, the NASCAR Cup Series is set up for an interesting end to the regular season. Interestingly, there are still four spots up for grabs ahead of the race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the biggest question that keeps going around is can Chase Elliott still make it? Moreover, can Chicago Street race winner Shane van Gisbergen make it big in Verizon 200 At The Brickyard on Sunday?

While there is too much uncertainty, we bring some useful data before the race. At the same time, DraftKings has just spiced up the game by bringing up a sensational offer. Ahead of the Indy road course race, they have come up with a mouth-watering limited-period offer.

With favorable odds, can Shane van Gisbergen make it 2 in 2 at IRC?

Chris Buescher grabbed the headlines last weekend with his second consecutive win this season. However, at Indianapolis, the dynamics change drastically for everyone with several international racing stars involved. Project 91 driver Shane van Gisbergen is back for his second Cup Series race on Sunday.

He will be joined by fellow Supercars driver Brodie Kostecki, Le Mans 24 winners Kamui Kobayashi and Mike Rockenfeller, and 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button. While Kobayashi will be making his debut for 23XI Racing, Shane van Gisbergen remains one of the favorites to win on the weekend.

Just days back, the Kiwi sensation confirmed his intent to race full-time in the Cup Series from the next season. With many teams keen on his signature, a win on Sunday will only make it more enticing. The 34-year-old driver enters the race at +550 odds to win the race as per DraftKings Sportsbook.

While Gisbergen has a good chance on Sunday, so does Tyler Reddick. The 23XI Racing driver was unfortunate last weekend with his team letting him down on pit road. However, he would hope for a better run this Sunday so as to repeat his last year’s feat with a podium finish this season at Indianapolis. Reddick is placed at +550 to win the race.

That being said, his biggest challenge comes against the competition leader, Martin Truex Jr. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has been in phenomenal form this campaign, leading almost every chart. While he ended up runner-up last weekend, he definitely has the best odds with +450 to make it enter victory lane for the fourth time this season.

With these drivers well-placed for a win, the odds for some of the playoff candidates do not look bad either?one of them being the erstwhile road course king, Chase Elliott.

It is no secret how Chase Elliott has been a fan favorite for a long time now. While he has been unfortunate with his injury this season, his playoff chances have only gotten slim after every single race. With his 22nd position on the table right now, a victory is the bare minimum requirement for the Hendrick Motorsports driver right now.

What’s encouraging is that Elliott is placed at +750 to win the race at Indianapolis on Sunday. While these are just odds, it will require a special performance for the 2020 Cup Series champion to book his place in the final 16. Among other playoff candidates, the road course veterans AJ Allmendinger and Michael McDowell too have a decent chance to perform well.
