Imagine hot, juicy meat, smoked the old way, waiting for you to dig in. And, as you dig in, you feel your soul left for heaven. And Tony Stewart is no different. You know how some people need recipes, some cook off the cuff, and some run to the nearest restaurant to curb their hunger pangs? If Tony Stewart is to be believed, he is suffering at home.

Tony Stewart’s innermost desire shared with Sullivans
Tony Stewart considers Leah Pruett a true rockstar and an exceptional multitasker, and he always makes it a point to express his appreciation for her. Recently, after being honored as the NHRA Rookie of the Year, Stewart acknowledged his wife, referring to her as his greatest mentor and showing his respect for her support. She is a race car champion. And, no matter what she does, she does well – be it sports or delivering a baby while suffering from Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis.
However, her one inability is hurting her husband. Terry Sullivan is the man who has been smoking meat the old way for 30 years now. He fed Stewart slow-smoked briskets and ribs, a classic Texas meal, while Stewart started opening up to him. Stewart asked Sullivan on their channel to keep Leah Pruett there for 10 years and teach her how to cook because that’s the one inability. Sullivan said, “Tony was very clear about Leah. She doesn’t know how to cook. And he wants me to teach her. No, I can’t work miracles…I’ll tell you that right now. I have heard how she cooks.”
Sullivan’s worries about Pruett seeing the clip and getting irritated were laid to rest when Stewart explained and incident of Leah Pruett cooking., “Oh God, I don’t think my body can take this.” But, sadly for him, when he was halfway through the food, Leah Pruett left her plate after three bites. “She says we are not doing this, so let’s go. Threw it all in the trash, went to town,” Stewart said.

The Stewart family’s Christmas tale
While Tony Stewart had considerable success in the NHRA this year, he couldn’t wait for the holidays. Sure, he could enjoy the off-season, but for the couple, Christmas would be even more special this year because of their son Dominic’s arrival. Born just a few weeks ago when Stewart went back-and-forth between a race and a hospital, Dominic has been one of the biggest wins in Smoke’s life, perhaps even bigger than his 3 Cup Series trophies.

And Christmas proved just that. The happy couple posted pictures alongside baby Dominic and their dog. In one of the pictures, baby Dominic even wore a onesie that dubbed him, “Best Gift Ever!” The family posing in front of the Christmas tree would be a sight for sore eyes, especially for Pruett fans. Her struggles with getting pregnant were well known, and having to take a break from racing couldn’t have been easy, neither for the driver nor for her fans.
Now that she is a month into motherhood, she shared a small update for her fans. She wrote, “Life lately. Even though I haven’t posted much, Dom has for sure taken over my sleep schedule, and camera roll. He’s now over a month old, and has got all of his responsibilities down. Eat, sleep, toot, and look cute.” While Pruett is continuing her time off racing to explore motherhood, it’s a journey all fans can’t wait to see more of.
