For the race weekend at the Phoenix Raceway, Austin Cindric will have a new sponsor. The reigning Xfinity Series champion is set to partner CarShop USA from the coming race weekend onwards. As per reports, the deal will run for multiple races, but the identity of those races is a mystery.
Cindric spoke about the new partnership recently. He said, “Really looking forward to having CarShop on our Ford Mustang, starting this weekend at Phoenix. Excited to be part of the growth of the CarShop brand and I really appreciate the support from Penske Automotive group.”
According to Austin Cindric, the car will likely stick out vividly on the track. This is because it is pink and white, and he cannot wait to put the car through its paces.

How has Austin Cindric performed so far in 2021?
So far in 2021, Cindric has been in fine form, with a win at Daytona. In addition to that, he finished no lower than fifth in the first four races. Furthermore, he became the first defending series champion since 1997 to win the opening race of the following season.

For the moment, the 22-year-old is sitting pretty at the top of the Xfinity Series point standings. His four-consecutive top-five finishes played a massive role in ensuring that that happened.
It is also worth mentioning that he even got a taste of Cup Series machinery for the first time. To be precise, Cindric made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in February at the Daytona 500. Over there, he led a few laps at the iconic race for a while.

As it happens, he was also in a prime position for a top-10 result. Sadly, a multi-car accident on the final lap scuppered his hopes, and he dropped down the order. Despite this, he did end up in a respectable 15th place on the track which was impressive for his debut.
