2023 has been the stuff of dreams for a 21-year-old driver who gained notoriety as ‘The Pizza Man’. Whether he’s wearing his pepperoni pizza cap while giving interviews or his pepperoni-themed helmet while racing under the lights at Daytona International Speedway, Brayton Laster has delivered a few thrilling performances in the ARCA Menards Series to secure a driver for 2024 at the Daytona season opener.
Laster will be driving for Terry Carroll Motorsports, wielding the #91 Toyota Camry in the Daytona 200 on 17 February. This gives Laster the golden opportunity to drive at the International Speedway for his third consecutive season after making his Daytona debut in 2022 with Mullins Racing. While the team’s primary sponsorship arrangements are yet to be announced, Laster was quick to reveal their ‘Mom and Pop shop’ sponsorship deal which will allow fans to get a placement spot for their brands on Laster’s Daytona challenger!
