It’s December, and here we are with another demand from Dale’s wife! Earlier this month we heard her demanding some jewels; let’s find out what’s the deal this time.

Well, the holiday season is here, after all. In other words, it is a time for people to go out for a holiday and enjoy themselves. For many people, a surprise holiday sounds like a lot of fun, especially after a hectic period. However, for Amy Earnhardt, it’s definitely not about surprises.

And, Amy Earnhardt is clarifying Dale Jr’s misconceptions about surprises. However, she did insist that there was a caveat to her dislike of surprises. Chief among her surprise dislikes are the impromptu road trips. However, Dale Jr. took that as her not liking surprises in general, and that triggered a debate between the couple.

And, according to her, preparing for the impromptu trip was a real headache. That was one of the main reasons why she hated such surprises. Especially when the trip is unexpectedly dropped on her, leaving little to no time to pack her bags. The only way she would let it slide was if he thought ahead and packed her bags for her and had everything planned out.

The next thing? Dale Earnhardt Jr. is pointing out that she generally does not like seeing him pack her bags. He even asked her if it would be okay if she was given sufficient advance notice. And, Amy’s reply to this?

As the couple kept debating on the Dale Jr Download that was shared on Instagram on Christmas Eve, Amy revealed, “I would have so many questions about it. I would ruin it, like where are we going, what do I need to pack.”

What’s your perspective on:

Is Dale Jr. right to plan surprise trips, or should he stick to Amy's 'no surprises' rule?

Have an interesting take?

Junior further amended that question, saying that if he hypothetically planned everything out. He even set into play a week-long trip with a set destination, and their two children were taken care of. That was when she finally relented and was satisfied with the conditions. To which Dale Earnhardt replied, “Now I have a protocol I can follow.”

Truthfully, there wasn’t a victor in their argument, but the couple looked like they were having a typical American couple banter. Well, can’t disagree, a good holiday talk for their fans to relate to.

And, not to mention, Amy Earnhardt is a frequent guest on the podcast, and her appearances have always been entertaining. Especially with the chemistry between her and her husband while on air.

But what has Dale Jr. been up to in recent weeks?

Of course, the Earnhardt family is gearing up for Christmas, whether celebrating at home or somewhere special. And while the holidays are in focus, Dale Earnhardt Jr. continues to capture hearts even in retirement!

Recently, NASCAR diecast maker Lionel Racing revealed its top-selling diecast cars of 2024, with Junior’s iconic #8 Budweiser late-model car taking the top spot. This throwback design followed his much-anticipated reunion with Budweiser and the legendary #8.

While Jr. topped the list, NASCAR MPD wasn’t far behind. Chase Elliott’s Hooters Texas win paint scheme came in second, while his teammate, Kyle Larson’s Terry Labonte Darlington throwback and William Byron’s Daytona 500 win car secured spots in the top five. And, Brad Keselowski’s Southern 500 win car rounded out the list.

For fans, seeing the red #8 Chevy return at the South Carolina 400 was a nostalgic moment. The collaboration to recreate the car was a big deal, especially after Teresa Earnhardt relinquished the rights to the Earnhardt name—allowing Dale Jr. to honor his father’s legacy fully.

As the Earnhardts prepare for the holidays, Junior Nation has plenty to celebrate!
