While Chase Elliott might not be competing for the driver’s championship this season, he’s still in contention for the owner’s championship. Winning this title would be a significant achievement for Rick Hendrick. And so the question arises: What will Chase Elliott receive if he secures the owner’s championship for Hendrick Motorsports?

During a recent interview, Elliott addressed this topic, stating, “We haven’t talked about it, but certainly with the precedent that was set last year, I would have to imagine there is experience in going through a situation like this.”

He continued, “We haven’t discussed it. It’s not a concern of mine and the reason is that Rick has always been extremely fair to me. He’s always treated me with a lot of respect as it pertains to HMS or beyond.” Chase Elliott’s trust in Rick Hendrick’s fairness and respect is evident.
