The 2020 Cup Series regular season is almost over and the playoffs are right on the horizon. Kicking off the final three races of the regular season is a doubleheader at the Dover International Speedway this weekend. With the double-header this weekend, NASCAR has released the weekend schedule for the Cup Series and Xfinity series.

However, everything begins with the ARCA Menards East race and a Truck Series race. When the Cup Series race finally gets underway, Chase Elliott will lead the pack from pole. Meanwhile, Austin Cindric is set to lead the Xfinity grid when that gets going.

The ball starts rolling on Thursday, with everyone arriving at the track, starting with the ARCA East drivers and their crew. 24 hours later, the Truck Series and Xfinity Series teams start pouring in and the ARCA East race commences at 2 pm local time.

Coming to the Dover International Speedway, the track has been nicknamed the “Monster Mile”. The 1-mile race track was inaugurated in 1969 and hosted its maiden NASCAR Cup Series race on July 6, 1969. As it turned out, seven-time champion Richard Petty earned the honor of being the first winner at Dover.
