Other than his heartbreaking farewell season, tributes and well wishes have been flowing in for veteran Stewart-Haas Racing driver, Kevin Harvick. While the 2014 Cup Series champion is still chasing the first win of the season, SHR and Harvick’s sponsor, Anheuser-Busch—the $110 billion-worth parent company of Budweiser and Busch Light—have a massive announcement for NASCAR nation.

The upcoming race at the Homestead Miami Speedway will have the #4 car in its iconic Budweiser Red & White livery—a throwback tribute to Harvick’s championship-winning year. The event named 4Ever 400 presented by the veteran’s sponsor Mobil 1 will be a salute to the 47-year-old’s achievements and a homage to the driver’s championship-winning campaign with the Ford powerhouse.

Ford fans will have to bid farewell to their favorite driver with a heavy heart after a rather dull and underwhelming season. Tony Stewart and his #4 driver are at the worst end of the spectrum, devoid of a victory, still chasing it as the Cup Series bandwagon reaches the 2nd race of the Round of 8.

Despite having an awful final season that no one saw coming, the veteran eyes to go out on shield with a win at the mile-and-a-half circuit, donning the 2014 racing livery for a final time. Harvick‘s $110-billion-worth sponsor and his team are certainly trying their best to make up for the team’s lack of performance getting the community back to the veteran’s breakout year in 2014.

2014 was the veteran’s first year with Tony Stewart’s team after signing into the Ford camp. While his glory days are in the past with the team being rattled by inconsistency, even earning him a humiliating disqualification in Talladega, the 2014 Budweiser scheme is reminiscent of his glorious run that year.

Unlike the current season, “Happy” Harvick amassed a total of 11 top-2 finishes and 5 wins including the final championship race in 2014. The team released a 7-minute-long video commemorating the 47-year-old’s illustrious career with the caption, “A legendary surprise from @BuschBeer and the No. 4 team for a legendary racer.”

Not just Harvick, but Stewart-Haas Racing as a whole has had an underwhelming season. Neither of its four cars has managed to clinch the checkered this season, while the #4 driver was the team’s only playoff entry. Though he managed to slip into the playoff picture, pointing his way without a win, the veteran ran out of luck when he was eliminated in the first eliminator that knocked out 4 drivers.

With his sponsor and team paying homage to the driver’s glorious career, fans got into a frenzy as they lauded and praised him for his achievements in the sport. Redditers tagged Jim Utter’s tweet and discussed the return of the title-winning paint scheme to Homestead – the same place he won his championship in 2014.

One fan mentioned how Dale Earnhardt Jr and Kevin Harvick had similar farewell schemes coming from Budweiser: “Interesting how he and Dale Jr’s final cup schemes at Homestead are throwbacks to their old Budweiser schemes. Unfortunately for Jr, the sponsor couldn’t come back.”

Another user commented: “IVE BEEN WAITING ALL YEAR FOR THIS.” While another ardent fan wanted to see the 2003 scheme for Phoenix, “Now give us the 2003 goodwrench flames car for Phoenix.” Whereas another fan lauded Budweiser for bringing them the throwback scheme, “THEY DID IT, THEY ACTUALLY LISTENED AND DID IT. ALL IS FORGIVEN BUSCH, I LOVE YOU GUYS FOR DOING THIS”
