Earlier this week, several NASCAR drivers were in Nashville for the Champions Week. The roster included all of the 2021 NASCAR champions from the Cup, Truck, Xfinity, and ARCA Series. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin was also present, and he and the others were tasked with entertaining the crowd.
So, everyone went out one by one and performed donuts. Unfortunately, Hamlin suffered a minor hiccup when he accidentally bumped into a wall while trying to do a burnout. Luckily, there was not too much damage, and he was able to continue the run without further incident.

Of course, the fans were all too eager to pounce on that embarrassing mistake, and there was no mercy. Many fans cast their minds back to an incident between Hamlin and Alex Bowman. In a fit of anger, Hamlin called the Hendrick Motorsports driver a ‘hack’ for his actions. Of course, fans were not willing to forgive him, nor make him forget about it in a hurry.
What did the fans say about Denny Hamlin crashing at Nashville?
One fan quipped, “Somehow that’s Alex Bowman’s fault”. Others suggested that the wall was a hack or that Bowman should have gotten his revenge. More and more people mocked him for wiping out and there were more calls of him being ‘a hack’. Others also called him out for his lack of Cup Series championships.

Admittedly, Hamlin is 41 and time is definitely running out for him to clinch his maiden Cup Series title. Without a doubt, the Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota is a decently fast car, and Hamlin is hugely talented. It is just unfortunate that he has been consistently missing out when it really matters.
