Alex Bowman might have found himself in a pickle last year during his High Limit racing series sprint, but that hasn’t stopped him from coming back to dirt racing. However, this time he’s decided to don a new role. Saying that he won’t be racing in the division next year, Bowman revealed how Cup racing will be his utmost priority for the near future.

And while the driver has put the brakes on dirt track racing for now, his team’s still in the game. Just the other day, he let slip some juicy tidbits about who’s revving up for Tulsa.

This season, Alex Bowman faced a rough patch when he had a crash during the High Limit Racing Series, ending up with a fractured vertebra and missing a few races. Since then, he’s put his dirt racing dreams on ice. But he’s still the wind beneath the wings of his team, Alex Bowman Racing, cheering them on from the sidelines.

Recently he dropped some interesting info on Twitter about the 2024 Tulsa lineup. According to his tweet, he has become the hauler for his team’s truck. His tweet went like this: “Excited to announce our 2024 Tulsa line up: 55V – @CJ_Leary_ 55A @jakeswanson17 55X – @kevinthomasjr

Team managers – Finn & Merle

Hauler driver – @Alex_Bowman”

With a whopping 1,661 entries for the 39th Tulsa Shootout, getting the heat race lineups spot on is crucial this week at the SageNet Center. These lineups for all six divisions were out on Wednesday evening. But here’s the scoop: Alex Bowman isn’t the only big name heading to Oklahoma.

In recent years, Kyle Busch has been diving headfirst into the world of sprint cars and dirt racing, all thanks to his son, Brexton. Kyle’s committed to being a big part of Brexton’s budding racing career, which means they’re trying their hand at everything – from bandoleros to sprint cars and go-karts.

Having a two-time NASCAR champ like Kyle Busch at the Tulsa Shootout is pretty awesome. Sure, former dirt racing stars like Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson usually make an appearance most years. This time, though, while Bell’s got a car in the mix, he’s not behind the wheel. And Larson’s sitting this year out in Tulsa.

But keep your eyes peeled for ‘Wild Thing’, Kyle Busch! He’s revving up for action in both the Outlaw Winged and Non-Winged classes. He’s already aced a heat before and held his own against some of the best in dirt racing. And let me tell you, he’s only gotten better since he first hit the dirt track. As for young Brexton, he’s stepping up to the plate in the Restricted A Class and Junior Sprints, as per FloRacing. After a stellar 2023, he’s all set to kick off 2024 with a bang.
