Later this weekend, Kyle Larson, Chase Briscoe, and Chase Elliott will participate in a midget car dirt race. The trio will square off against each other at the Carolina Midget Showdown. As it turns out, this event is regarded as a major dirt race in the midget car scene. In light of that, Alex Bowman poked fun at Elliott and Larson on Twitter.
Admittedly, Larson is pretty much one of the favorites, as he enjoyed a lot of success on dirt tracks. After he was let go from his team following a certain incident, Kyle Larson was out of the NASCAR scene for a while. However, he refused to remain idle and turned to dirt racing, winning quite a few races.

In a way, this race will be the perfect opportunity for Chase Elliott to test Larson. This is because the 28-year-old is going to be his teammate for the coming Cup Series season. Without a doubt, the Hendrick Motorsports team will be happy that their drivers are training hard for 2021.
Just to get dirty again tomorrow.

As the defending champion, Chase Elliott will have a massive target painted on his back. Additionally, this midget car dirt race should provide some much-needed experience, especially since the NASCAR community will race at a couple of dirt tracks in the 2021 season.
Of course, William Byron‘s plans are relatively unknown for the moment. However, he would not be sitting around and doing nothing. He would also be hard at work, training to perform better than he did last season. The driver can be sure that he and his teammates will try and make Chase Elliott sweat next season.

Obviously, there are other drivers on the track that are perfectly capable of challenging Elliott. One thing is for sure, the 2021 Cup Series season will be very intriguing.
