Sad news for music fans around the world, as iconic Migos rapper, Takeoff has been pronounced dead at the age of 28. Unfortunately, the rapper was shot dead at a private party in Houston. Let’s take a look back at a more pleasant history, as grim clouds surround the music world.

The NASCAR world got to witness the trio, as they came to the field as educators.

Back in 2018, the rap trio consisting of Takeoff, Offset, and Quavo hit the Auto Club Speedway grid to teach the NASCAR field how to do a dab. Funny enough, Michael Waltrip’s attempt was put to shame as the $26 Million worth rapper, Takeoff showed him how to really do a dab.

Of course, accompanied by his uncle, Quavo. However, their third member, Offset was sitting in Bubba Wallace’s #43 car. Obviously, a Migos dab is incomplete without the classic “SKRRT SKRRT.” But believe it or not, this isn’t the first time NASCAR has seen a dab, because Austin Dillon was the first one to dab after winning the Daytona 500.

Maybe that’s why Migos came to Auto Club, to show them how to really do it. A lesson from the godfathers themselves. Especially for Michael Waltrip, whose dab looked more like a fighting stance for fighting an anime villain or something.

Unfortunately, we don’t have Takeoff with us anymore, but this memory of his will stay with us fans.

Takeoff and Quavo considered wrestling before they became rappers

It might not be a surprise that the rap trio were fans of WWE as kids. Because well, that era was the peak of the wrestling legacy. In fact, they liked it so much that they used to fight each other at home.

In an episode of the Drinks Champs Show, they talked about them wrestling as kids.

Takeoff: We would fight as — he [Quavo] might be The Rock, I might be Stone Cold or he might be The Rock, I might be Undertaker and that’s one of my favorite wrestlers, you know what I’m saying?

Quavo: We used to be Dudley Brothers, Hardy Boys.

It would have been awesome if we could have seen them wrestle maybe. But unfortunately, that might not happen anymore.
