A lot of preparations are going on as the 2023 season of NASCAR is set to begin from 5th February onwards. From fans and drivers to racing updates—everything seems to be in the groove. The two-time Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch shed some light on upgrades expected this season.
A fan recently posted a video of Rowdy on Twitter. While being interviewed by a few journalists, he shared insights about his fitness routine and his love of being behind the wheel. Diving into one of the primary issues, a reporter asked, “Are you confident in the back of the car, the crush zones? I know that was a big issue last year. Do you think the changes they’ve made will be better in 2023?”

To this, Richard Childress Racing star replied, “I would like to hope so and I think that you know any changes that they have going on right now is all built through simulation. And I think they are going to the crash test site in the next week or two in order to give some validation on that. So we will see how all that looks and it turns out whether anything will be better or nothing.” Hinting at the Kurt Busch incident that led him to suffer a concussion while qualifying at Pocono in July last year, Rowdy made his observations about the recent season changes public for the first time.
