This is definitely a first! Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson will be entering the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout in January 2023. However, this news may not be a cheery message for everyone out there. Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson have been frequent participants in the Chilli Bowl Midget Nationals. But earlier this year, the Hendrick Motorsports duo announced that they would not be entering the competition anymore. When asked about it in an interview, Larson said that he doesn’t feel that the competition is that big a deal anymore.

He said; “I’ve spent half of my life going there (Chilli Bowl). But now that I’ve started racing in these other big events, against big names, and they just feel like a bigger deal to me than the Chili Bowl.”

It is obvious that the Chilli Bowl fans were upset about this decision by the Hendrick Motorsports duo. Fortunately or unfortunately, it is what it is.
