Kyle Larson had previously stated that he wanted to race in the IndyCar series, however, that plan had fallen through as he continued to race with Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup Series. But as per the latest suggestions by Larson, it seems that both Rick Hendrick and Jeff Gordon have given him the green light to look forward to his shot at the iconic Indy 500.

The final work still remains with the Hendrick Motorsport driver though. What is more, to consider is that Elliott had previously stated his disinterest in something like the 24 hours of LeMans with a modified Cup Series car.
