According to Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, the sponsorship is still up in the air. However, Toyota and JGR firmly believe that it is a matter of time until Busch signs a contract.

Kyle Busch has a lot on his mind for the 2022 Cup Series season
For now, the 2015 and 2019 Cup Series champion is aiming to add a third title to his name. He is also on the hunt for a few records, so that he can truly immortalize his name. To be exact, he is officially tied with the legendary Richard Petty for the most consecutive seasons with at least one win. Without a doubt, this will be extra motivation for Busch to continue racing.

However, his first priority is the 2022 Cup Series title fight. The good news is that he has already qualified for the Playoffs, but will have to work hard to remain there. This means that in the next 10 races, he has to hope that the sport does not see more than 16 winners.
