Former NASCAR driver Tony Stewart has been making headlines lately, not just for his achievements on the racetrack but for his massive transformation after losing 14 pounds in just two weeks.

In a recent conversation with Dale Earnhardt Jr on the Dale Jr Podcast, Stewart admitted that he had relied on artificial means to achieve his incredible weight loss, leaving Earnhardt Jr stunned.

Stewart, who is known for his love of food and beer, has struggled with weight issues. Over the years, he has tried various diets and workout regimens but has been unable to sustain them. However, in the past few months, he has undergone a massive transformation, losing a significant amount of weight and looking visibly healthier and fitter.

Early on during the podcast, Stewart hinted towards using a shot that helped him lose weight. When asked about the specifications of this shot, The Stewart Haas Racing Co-owner said, “It helps you lose weight so what it does is it curbs your appetite,” and recalled an incident, “Like I went for 27 hours, still wasn’t hungry and I’m like why am I tired & why do I have this massive headache cause I haven’t ate.”

Although later on during his conversation with Earnhardt Jr, Stewart also revealed that he had made some lifestyle changes that had helped him shed the excess pounds. He said that he had cut back on drinking beer and had started eating healthier foods.

However, he revealed that the shot he’d started using was a medication called Ozempic which had helped him lose a significant amount of weight.

Further elaborating on the story, Stewart said, “I heard a couple of guys in our industry that had done the Ozempic deal & I asked the doctor and she said say oh yeah way better now & one of the nurses said ‘I’m starting it tomorrow’ & I said, ‘I’ll come in tomorrow, I’ll start it with you & I’ve seen her every week cause we get our shots the same day plus she works there but I can see the difference in her and she goes I see the difference in you so it’s definitely working”

Ozempic is a prescription medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by regulating blood sugar levels and reducing appetite, which can lead to weight loss. Although it is not approved for weight loss by the FDA, many doctors prescribe it off-label for this purpose.

Dale Earnhardt Jr surprised by Tony Stewart’s admission

On the podcast, Dale Earnhardt Jr expressed his surprise at Stewart’s transformation, stating that he had noticed his friend losing weight over the past ten months. Earnhardt Jr commended Stewart for his dedication to his health and well-being, stating that he had seen a noticeable difference in his appearance and health while adding, “I’ve seen you on social media and MTV last 10 months and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in your health & how you look and then on Kenny’s show the screen gab that he’d used that advertised it on YT, I couldn’t even recognise you because you look so much better man, I’m really happy for you.”

Earnhardt Jr also shared his own struggles with weight management, stating “It’s tough to like you say, I fluctuate a lot with my weight, I go from 172 to 190, back & forth probably every 2 or 3 years and when I get to 190, it’s like my pants stop fitting and you get depressed and you get disappointed, you gotta bust your ass to try and lose 15 pounds and then you get happy again and then you just go back to the other direction & try to find some lifestyle that will sustain what you wanna be, where you wanna be, it’s tough, it’s not easy.”

He acknowledged the challenges of finding a sustainable lifestyle that would allow him to maintain his desired weight.
