Stewart-Haas Racing announced a multiyear contract extension with Briscoe. Tony Stewart, co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing, said, “Chase has made the most of every opportunity, and the proof is in the results.” Indeed, Briscoe performed very well the last two years, given the fact that he earned NASCAR’s Rookie of the Year in 2021. Followed by his first win, he took the checkered flag at the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022. It looks like, after Kevin Harvick’s retirement news, Stewart certainly wanted to retain the best talents. He said, “Keeping him at SHR was a priority, and we’re proud to have him in our race cars for many more years to come.”
