Joe Gibbs Racing lost two drivers together, of course, they first lost Kyle Busch from the Cup Series team and then Brandon Jones from the Xfinity Series team. But, interestingly, Jones didn’t get to announce his departure, because Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced it before the Xfinity driver could share his excitement. And clearly, Busch wasn’t happy as he took a dig at Junior.
But he might have ruined another driver’s day in the process.

Chandler Smith just announced that he will head to Kaulig Racing’s Xfinity Series team next year. Great news for Busch, because Smith is one of his best drivers in the truck series. Funny enough, when the Truck series playoff leader announced the news on his Instagram, Busch took a dig at Dale Jr’s way of announcing the news.

Kyle commented on the post saying, “Congrats! Someone that got to announce their own news 👍🏻”
This is hilarious because Busch is making fun of when Junior announced his new driver even before he could!

Some fans even took a dig at the media for leaking information before it was officially announced.
I agree with Busch on this media needs to stop leaking everything and let the team or driver announce their own news

And some singled out Jordan Bianchi as the culprit.
No thanks to @Jordan_Bianchi

But then, where will A.J Allmendinger go?
Well, there’s even more great news, Allmendinger will get a big promotion to the cup series, where he will now race full-time. Indeed a good time for the team.
