The Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway has wrapped up with Denny Hamlin winning. Needless to say, there was an exciting finish, and the NASCAR fans were loving it. It was an excellent way to wrap up a huge weekend for sports, starting right from Saturday. Firstly, there was the ongoing French Open as well as the UEFA Champions League final.
There was also the Italian MotoGP Grand Prix, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Indianapolis 500, and finally, the Coca-Cola 600.

Suffice to say, ardent sports fans were pretty much spoiled for choice. For NASCAR fans though, there were mixed feelings about the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. However, this had nothing to do with how the race panned out, and who won.
Why were the NASCAR fans feeling this way at the Coca-Cola 600?
This race comes right after the NASCAR All-Star race at the Texas Motor Speedway. As it turned out, many fans were not happy with how that race panned out. Most of the hate centered around the track itself because the community wanted the race to return to Charlotte. That sentiment only strengthened after a truly exciting race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Man that was some BAD ASS racing right there folks. I don’t know how NASCAR exec’s can watch last weeks race and this race and not move the All Star race back to Charlotte

As a result, there were multiple calls for the All-Star race to move back to the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Initially, many thought that the Next Gen car would make things interesting, especially on 1.5-mile tracks. Unfortunately, that was not the case at the Texas M0tor Speedway, as it was arguably an awful race.
Bring the All Star race back to Charlotte. #NASCAR

From 1987 until 2019, the Charlotte Motor Speedway has always hosted the All-Star race. In 2020, it moved to the Bristol Motor Speedway. On that occasion, Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott won the race. Last year and this year, Texas has played host, something that the fans did not like and this year’s race is the reason why.

Ultimately, the decision lies with NASCAR and whether they will change the location or stick with Texas. For now, the paddock will move on to the next race on the calendar at the World Wide Technology Raceway next weekend.
