Is on track retaliation an acceptable thing in NASCAR? Well, the answer to that question could be yes or no, depending largely on the circumstances, the severity of the action, as well as the overall context. However, for Bubba Wallace, the answer is something else completely.
Wallace wrecked Kyle Larson during the recent race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway moments after he felt he was shoved into the wall.
But when he was confronted with the question of whether the act of taking revenge on track is a good thing or not, the 23XI Racing driver said completely unexpected.

“Stop fishing,” he told the reporter.
Wallace then continued to elaborate on who he thought was responsible, despite most fingers pointing toward him. “He (Kyle Larson) knows, he knows what he did was wrong. He wanted to question what I was doing, and he never cleared me,” he claimed.
In fact, if the #23 driver currently doing a shift in the #45 is to be believed, had Kyle Larson not raced him hard when he did, they would’ve won the race.
“I just hate it for our team. Our McDonalds Toyota Camry was super solid – just needed to find a little bit on the short run and get the balance where we needed it.” Wallace described.
“It would have been like Kansas and now the car is junk.”

After ending his own race, Bubba Wallace claimed that he knew all too well what Kyle Larson was trying to do when he shoved him into the wall. According to the 23XI Racing driver, Larson was forcing him to lift, but by that time, “The steering was gone.”
“I’m smart enough to know how easily these cars break,” Wallace said. “Larson wanted to make a three-wide divebomb, but he never cleared me and I don’t lift.”
