Legacy Motor Club‘s No. 43, Erik Jones, experienced a head-on collision at Talladega Superspeedway, which led to a compression fracture in his lower vertebra. The injury unfortunately ruled him out of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover and also sidelined him in Kansas. Jones, however, had shown significant recovery progress since then, and even doctors had cleared him. Despite NASCAR’s green light, Jones still chose to stay out of the AdventHealth 400 race in Kansas as a precautionary measure.

Now, after almost a month’s rest, Erik Jones returned to the Darlington race on a redesigned driver’s seat. The modification in the cockpit was carried out to improve both comfort and performance during the race. Amidst all this, there is good news for the Jones family. Erik Jones and his wife took to their social media accounts to express their excitement. What good news can it be?
