Starting next year, Kyle Busch will be driving for Richard Childress Racing alongside his new teammate, Austin Dillon. However, recently it was revealed that Kyle Busch regretted that he had never been able to go on a hunting trip with the Childress family. Hunting had been a regular family activity for the Childress Family and now that Busch was kind of in the Childress racing family, he probably would really enjoy going on a hunting trip.

Busch stated, “I had one once upon a time. I’ve been before. Don’t let things completely shock you. Actually, (crew chief) Jason Ratcliff and I, when we were really close and racing for a championship in ’09, him and I went together. So it was fun. I’ve done it before, I’d enjoy doing it again. I’ve just never really I guess had any invites to go.”

Busch is slowly getting in with his new team, it has been mentioned that he also started visiting the garage and had talks with teammate Dillon about putting more hours in the simulator.
Kyle Busch apparently texted Austin Dillon to go hunting
A few weeks ago, Austin Dillon of Richard Childress Racing revealed that his future teammate, Kyle Busch apparently texted him implying that he wanted to go hunting.

During the media interaction, Dillon mentioned that he and Busch would start to spend more and more time with each other. In a separate interview, Dillon also mentioned, “He is already wearing everybody out about, ‘hey, we’ve got to be ready to go,’ So that fire is definitely there, and that’s what you want to see.”
Since the Childress family has been long known to go on hunting trips as a pastime, it is most likely the Busch would start to join Dillion and Childress family in this activity.
