The NASCAR world has been thrilled with all the races happening since the start of this 2023 season. Along with the Cup Series, fans also have the Craftsman Truck Series to look forward to. While a lot of drivers have been surprising everyone at the leaderboard, one amongst them is the upcoming female driver, Hailie Deegan. She recently tied with her career-best finish in the Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway.

The 21-year-old rising star in the world of NASCAR has had her share of highs and lows in her career. But there have been moments where she has proved that she has got the talent to climb up the ladder. And this past Saturday’s race was just an example of that. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing either.

Deegan recently made the headlines after an excellent performance, but that did not come easy to her. After the first big wreck of the 250-mile race, the No. 13 Ford F-150, was at the 12th spot. Her teammate Matt Crafton was wiped out due to all the wrecks and spinning out, but Deegan’s truck kept going strong.

In the final restart, she had to fight Jake Garcia for the eighth spot. She maintained steady control while coming to the white flag and despite going through the grass. As she was back on track, there was another wreck ahead of her. She took the fifth position before NASCAR’s review of the finishing order at the time of caution dropped her to sixth.
