While the Cup Series has brought a lot of good news for the Busch family fans, they haven’t forgotten about the health battle Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha finds herself in. She has always put up a brave face, and this was especially the case when, till recently, she couldn’t get a proper diagnosis for her issues despite multiple tests. But now, Samantha has finally found the answer to her concerns and the health scare she is battling.
For the Busch family, the race season has been a blessing so far. With a few highs and lows, both the father and son, Brexton, have been doing great in their respective careers. The Richard Childress Racing driver earned a massive win at Fontana, where he also broke a record by winning at least one race every season for 19th consecutive Cup seasons. As for Brexton, he has been showing immense potential and talent in Bandolero cars.

Since the beginning of this year, Samantha has been very vocal in sharing her concern about her hair fall. She has shown great strength in fighting her health battle even though hair fall concerns can shake people’s confidence. She even reached out to her fans for all the suggestions she could receive to find the reasons for her hair fall. Even after going through various tests, her doctors weren’t able to pinpoint the cause. But that nightmare is over for her now as she has finally got the answers she wanted so badly.
In her recent Instagram story, Samantha revealed it all. After four months of waiting, she finally got to consult with the hair dermatologist. Though her hair had stopped falling, like before, she still faced the issue of losing hair in clumps.
In the video, she shows her scalp and shares where the hair was coming out most. After her consultation, she said, “So they think it’s, she wrote it down, alopecia areata. I can’t say this word, something [ophiasis] pattern. And they think this because there’s very very clearly hair loss, not up top, but down in this pattern over here [the side of her head].”
“She says just by looking at it top to bottom, there’s about a good 50% hair loss. So they just marked my scalp, and I’m gonna get numbed and get a biopsy so that we can get confirmation of what this is. It’s kinda nice having an answer.”

In the next story, she shared a few details about the hair biopsy. She said, “Okay, the biopsy is done. I can’t actually see it, maybe you can. They also did some steroid injections as a test. So if it is this type of alopecia, then I will go on a regimen of steroid injections, and they also just came out with a medication that might help. So seven to 10 days we shall know.”
To her fans, who have always been there to support her, she showed the part of her scalp where the biopsy was done. While she focused her camera on the area, one could see a clear patch behind her ear towards her head with no hair.
Samantha had earlier confessed that she was naive about her hair loss when she had started seeing the signs. But now that she has the right diagnosis and treatment approved by dermatologists, she can be a bit relaxed and work towards recovery.
