The battle to reach the playoffs is really heating up and drivers are beginning to feel threatened. At the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Christopher Bell triumphed, making him the 14th race winner. He led the best of the Hendrick drivers, Chase Elliott, with Bubba Wallace in an impressive third place. Meanwhile, Bell’s teammate Martin Truex Jr and Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick rounded out the Top 5.

Speaking after the race, Bell said, “Talk about a dream come true.”

“I don’t really know why this track has been so good to me, but today it was a d**n good racetrack for some reason.”

“Really proud of [crew chief] Adam Stevens, our entire pit crew. Everyone knows the pit crew, well I don’t know if everyone knows our pit crew struggles. We’ve gone through a lot of them this year.

“Obviously, we had a bigger overhaul a couple of weeks ago. Last two weeks they’ve done a really good job.”

“Couldn’t be more proud of them for maintaining our spot on pit road.”

What else did Christopher Bell say?

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver noted that he managed to gain a few places after the pit stop phase. All in all, he was glad that the team pulled through and they worked as a single unit to get the win.

Bell confessed that in the early stages of the race, he did struggle a little. Most of his issues cropped up during the restarts and on the short runs.

On the bright side, the #20 driver was able to overcome them towards the end of the race. In the end, nobody could deny that he deserved the win. Bell’s win comes after starting fifth on the grid, behind pole man Martin Truex Jr.
