Back in 2013, Dale Earnhardt Jr had a vision about how fans would engage with motorsports. So he started Dirty Mo Media with a weekly podcast called ‘Dale Jr Download’. When it began, even the former HMS driver could not have imagined the scale and impact of his start-up. One that would be a benchmark for others to follow in their footsteps while also opening the door for opportunities and collaboration.

Continuing to make waves in multimedia content creation, Dirty Mo Media has announced its partnership with IndyCar. In onboarding their new partners, Dale Jr’s production company will be creating and promoting IndyCar content. The key aspect of this partnership will see the podcast ‘Speed Street’ by IndyCar driver Conor Daly and Chase Holden being promoted by Dale Jr’s company.

‘Speed Street’ is a weekly show featuring the two IndyCar drivers, Daly and Holden, who talk about the latest happenings in the world of auto racing. Along with their perspective and stories about IndyCar, with the new partnership with Dirty Mo Media in place, the show will now feature the winner of the NTT IndyCar series each week. Also, the content generated by Dale Jr’s production company will be shared on IndyCar’s social media handles and YouTube.

Kate Davis, director of communications for IndyCar after inking the partnership, said, “Conor’s goal has always been to move the sport forward, grow the fanbase and educate his listeners on exactly what they are watching in an INDYCAR race. That whole approach provides an exceptional value to race fans, and it is why ‘Speed Street’ plays such an important role in our lineup. It’s also why a partnership between INDYCAR and the ‘Speed Street’ brand is an exciting development that has tremendous potential.”

The new episodes of Speed Street will be released every Wednesday throughout the 2024 season. These new episodes will be available across all major podcasting platforms. The special segment of the IndyCar winners featured on the show will commence after this weekend’s Firestone Grand Prix.

Dirty Mo Media’s success is not a surprise given how Dale Earnhardt Jr has transitioned from his role as a race car driver to an entrepreneur.

Dale Earnhardt Jr is known for his racing shenanigans on the race tracks, but more importantly, he is also a smart operator when it comes to expanding his legacy off the race track. The 49-year-old made waves in the real estate market when he sold his unique Florida home, known as “Pirate Ship Home”, for a whopping $3 million. It was seen as an investment by Dale Jr and he surely pocketed a good return from this sale.

He even co-owns a successful NASCAR Xfinity racing team, JR Motorsports. Under his leadership, the team has managed to clinch three championship wins in 2014, 2017, and 2018. Thus putting his knowledge as a racecar driver to great use. Another notable venture of his is ‘Whisky River’, a restaurant and bar chain. The restaurant is located in several locations, like Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Last but not least, Dale Jr also co-owns a vodka brand named ‘High Rock Vodka’.
