Bubba Wallace is infamous for his anger issues and the dangerous retaliation actions it leads to. Recently, Wallace spun out Kyle Larson at the Las Vegas Speedway. And as a result, NASCAR penalized the 23XI Racing driver with a one-race suspension. However, this was not the first time that Wallace was fined because of Larson.

In 2019, Kyle Larson accused Bubba Wallace of deliberately spinning and bringing up a caution flag at the Texas Motor Speedway. The caution directly impacted other drivers, with Larson being one of them. Moreover, Wallace too accepted that his actions were deliberate in a post-race interview.

Moreover, Bubba Wallace justified his actions by saying “I am racing for myself, not for Larson, not for Chevrolet at that moment.” Although it’s true that Wallace is not just the only driver to do it. But surely, he is the only one to admit it on air.

NASCAR didn’t actually levy a million-dollar fine on Bubba Wallace. However, owing to his actions at the Las Vegas Superspeedway, NASCAR analysts believe that he might lose $1 million in lieu of fines levied by 23XI Racing.

Currently, Wallace makes somewhere around $2.2 million a year as a salary from 23XI. Hence, a $1 million penalty will definitely sting him. But his actions at Las Vegas, especially shoving Larson after dangerously spinning him out, do deserve reprimand.
