Dale Earnhardt Jr had a long and distinguished career in NASCAR. He completed 631 races over 19 years while competing in the NASCAR Cup Series. Junior has also been a two-time Busch Series champion and a two-time Daytona 500 champion. He has a lot of experience stored in his hands for sure.

Chase Elliott on the other hand is his contemporary. In his very short career, the 26-year-old has achieved a lot of things – things that even Dale Jr couldn’t manage to achieve at that age. Chase is already a NASCAR Cup Series champion, a NASCAR Regular Season champion, and won the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race.

The two drivers also shared a team for a short period of time when they raced for Hendrick Motorsports. As part of their commercial commitments, they were sponsored by Mountain Dew – a brand owned by the $238 billion soft drinks major, PepsiCo. For the company, they also did a few media duties which included the ‘Dew Time Off’ series. They allowed a young girl working at a carwash some time off so that she could pursue Taekwondo. And in return the two NASCAR legends took up the car washing duties.
