Danica Patrick, a highly regarded former IndyCar and NASCAR driver, is still remembered for her cup series car that had a green GoDaddy paint scheme. However, that wasn’t the only livery she ran. Back in 2017, she had a unique Mobil 1 livery for her car. Recently, NASCAR Late Model driver Isabella Robusto based her car’s livery on that specific Danica paint scheme for the Throwback 276 at the Hickory Motor Speedway.

When asked why she chose that particular paint scheme, Isabella replied, “So my main sponsor’s Mobil 1 with Toyota, we had to find a Mobil 1 paint scheme and kind of looking through them all, Danica just seemed like a really cool car, but also a person, to throw back to just because of everything that she’s done for females in NASCAR.”
She mentioned that in all her throwback races, she had never seen anyone run a Danica-themed car. Robusto also mentioned that she met Danica during her go-karting career.
She also met with Danica’s parents as they used to own a go-karting team. Talking about Danica’s parents, Isabella said, “It was pretty great to talk with her parents kind of about all the struggles she had to overcome and what kind of helped her with her career.”
