On October 8th, Bubba Wallace made history after winning in Talladega. His first NASCAR Cup Series race win made him only the second Black driver to win at the premier level after Wendell Scott in 1963.
Wallace is now set to appear in the season finale of LeBron James’ “The Shop” along with some big celebrities.
In a video David Beckham posted on his Instagram, Wallace can be alongside the Inter Miami CF President, talk show host James Cordon, rapper Saweetie and comedian Yvonne Orji.

Wallace talks NASCAR
In a teaser posted by Uninterrupted, Wallace talks about the side of his profession most people don’t get to see.
“Everything else before you climb in that car is work. But the racing, that’s fun,” he says in the teaser video.
Beckham also talked about his struggles and how being on the pitch was therapeutic – “I went through certain things where I had hard days but when I was on the field, that was my happy place.”
It's going down Friday night at #TheShop 💈

In “The Shop”, celebrities from all kinds of backgrounds come together to talk about things that people might discuss at a barbershop. This allows them to talk in a more candid and open way.
Putting Wallace alongside a fellow athlete, David Beckham should result in a lot of interesting moments in their conversation. And when you consider the other names in the finale, the episode should be a perfect mix of fun and insightful.
Bubba Wallace faces the heat
In the recent outing on track, Bubba Wallace didn’t perform well. Wallace, who hadn’t qualified for the playoffs, seemed to have been on the receiving end of a pretty harsh message from Kyle Busch.
Busch, who is still in contention for a spot in the playoffs, finished 28th. He took out his frustration on Wallace and was caught doing so. However, Wallace’s team member, Freddie Kraft, recently commented on Busch’s rant in a podcast.

“What else is new? Kyle complaining about something,” Kraft said.
“I don’t know. We caught him and were trying to pass him. I guess if he didn’t want to race, he could have moved over and let us go.”
Even though he didn’t make the playoffs this season, Bubba Wallace has enough support from his team to look forward to the next season in NASCAR. But for now, it’ll be interesting to see how Wallace reacts to not only the Kyle Busch business but looking back on what has been a season to remember for him.
