There are few drivers on the NASCAR grid as under the spotlight as Bubba Wallace. Apart from driving in the top tier of NASCAR, the 23XI Racing driver has always been vocal about the social causes that go in an around the nation.
Being the only African-American driver on a full-time basis in the Cup Series, Wallace has proved nothing stands as an obstacle between him and his dreams to make it big in the world of motorsports. But the road has seldom been smooth. He is often subjected to intense criticism and booing—the latest example being the All-Stars Race—for his on- and off-track activities.
But this doesn’t stop him from carrying out his charity events. Wallace has been a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter Movement and also helps the underprivileged in society. He has found support from the team’s primary sponsor Keurig’s Dr. Pepper. Owing to this, the beverage company recently decided to commemorate the driver and name a day after him.

A partner in a good cause with the 23XI Racing
The relationship between Dr.Pepper and the 23XI Racing team is much more than what meets the eye. They have been the founding members of Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s team and gave shape to their dreams of owning a NASCAR team. The drink company also featured in the car liveries of Wallace in Kansas and also promoted the brand by featuring a unique QR code on his car.
The driver also seemed to promote the brand off-track through his tomfoolery, when he appeared for an interview with his teammate Tyler Reddick. He sneaked in weird words, like Catawampus, Dorothy to be used at the interview which seemed to be a part of the challenge and hint at Dr. Pepper.
