NASCAR has certainly evolved over the years and with the growing popularity of the sport, the organization had to shift its focus to Esports racing series in order to cater to a wider audience. And the shift seems to have skyrocketed the sport’s growth considerably. What began in the early 2010s is the longest-running officially sanctioned Esports racing series!
And with the recent turn of events, Tyler Reddick the winner at the Circuit of the Americas has brought the spotlight back to his team’s iRacing division.
Following his exhilarating finish on the Austin road course, Tyler was all praise for 23Xl Racing‘s iRacing eNASCAR driver, Keegan Leahy!

Further, after his dominating performance in Austin, Bubba Wallace‘s teammate revealed his thoughts about the eNASCAR driver and how he played a role in his victory.
Tyler Reddick shows his gratitude
While the young and talented Reddick showered praise on his Toyota team for its “group effort” and how everyone played their roles, motorsports reporter and journalist Alan Cavanna shared an interesting take on his first COTA victory.
The young speedster showed true character in the victory lane as he showered love on all his teammates. Taking to his Twitter feed, Alan tweeted and shared how Tyler ‘gave a special shout out’ to the iRacing champion, Keegan Leahy. Tyler also attributed his win to Keegan who had an unbelievable COTA race in simulation and how it related to his racecar.

While for many fans, the iRacing scene might be a little too virtual with the simulated racetracks and in-game experience, it doesn’t take away the true racing spirit of the sport with raw emotions and its unreal competition.
iRacing eNASCAR Series and Keegan Leahy
NASCAR’s Esports platform has its roots going back to the early 2010s, with the organization slowly yet steadily pushing the sport for the recognition it deserves.
Apart from being an ardent NASCAR enthusiast, Keegan is also a science buff at Dalhousie University. He came into the fairly new division just a few years ago yet proved his mettle by winning the 2021 Coca-Cola iRacing Series title and extending team owner Michael Jordan‘s fame as a successful businessman.
