He said, “Yeah, I mean if you look at kind of the key partners they had for that race, McDonald’s, blue cross, and those were all 23XI partners so they were obviously heavily invested in the success of it and I think they were happy.”

Though Hamlin feels NASCAR can come up with its own version of the NBA’s in-season tournaments, the veteran is all in for a shorter 32-driver mid-season tournament, hoping that this brings more excitement and fandom to the tracks.
