Finally, at Pocono, Bubba Wallace was looking great as he came first during the first round of qualifying with the best finishing time of 52.82. Sadly, during the final round, neither of the 23XI Racing Toyotas was able to find their best finish. It’s safe to say that Bubba Wallace is under huge pressure for his performance and, above all, for his playoff spot. After a challenging qualifying session, a presser asked Bubba Wallace about how he handles the pressure in these tricky situations.

Bubba described the thrilling close battle into playoff qualifying and revealed his secret mantra by saying, Well, I’m down in Miami playing Golf with DJ Khaled having fun you know not worrying about it. I mean that’s the thing right, lot of people kind of live in the pressure or some people try to escape.”

The #23 driver continued, “I’m I guess it depends on which way the wind blows, I’m either way but um just knowing that you have a group of people the caliber people everybody at 23XI is honestly as long as we execute and do our jobs and it’s unfortunate we’re in this spot but we can continue to climb out of it so we’re good we’re in a way better scenario than we were last year. It’s crazy playoff picture this year versus last year; it’s so tight.”

Bubba Wallace managed to get a good top-10 position to start his Pocono 400, and it will be intriguing to see how he performs and whether he can maintain the lead into the playoff bubble or not.

Back when he started to play, Michael Jordan would get stressed, and his palms would start sweating, making ball handling tougher. It led to him constantly applying rosin powder to keep his palm dry for a better grip. However, this natural process couldn’t be prevented, and Jordan developed a skill to handle pressure.
