Ever since NBA legend Michael Jordan established the 23XI Racing team, NASCAR has come under NBA’s radar. So, over the course of the season, a number of current NBA stars have dropped by to visit the 23XI garage to visit Bubba Wallace. Earlier at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indiana Pacers player Justin Holiday dropped by to visit. Just before that, Detroit Pistons’ Saddiq Bey visited at Michigan.
Holiday wrote on social media, “I am beyond thankful to have had the opportunity to experience today. I now know why people love the sport of racing so much. I met some dope people and drove a Corvette on one of the most legendary tracks in the world. I want to give a big thank you to everyone that played a part in making this happen. (You know who you are.) I think racing is in my future!”

Holiday even got a chance to meet Wallace and Corey LaJoie. To make matters even better, he was able to rub shoulders with the legendary Mario Andretti. Furthermore, he was in for a treat, because the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was hosting an IndyCar and a NASCAR race on the same weekend.

Bubba Wallace was thrilled to meet so many NBA stars
Wallace wrote on social media, “Still smiling. Had some fun in Michigan, still just have to put it all together. Thanks for coming out, Saddiq Bey. Hope we showed you a good time. One more shot this weekend and I think you guys know how I feel about Daytona.”
Speaking of Daytona, Bubba Wallace enjoyed a great race at the iconic speedway. In fact, he recorded a career-best finish of third place, which became second after Chris Buescher’s disqualification. The bad news was that it was not enough to secure a playoff spot, but he was still happy with how things turned out.
