The Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway was certainly the rollercoaster of a race. It had all the elements of an epic event. While Denny Hamlin stole the win from Kyle Larson after a last-minute rally, it was the after-race altercation between Noah Gragson and Ross Chastain that caught the community by surprise.
Recently, Hendrick Motorsports ace Kyle Larson reacted to the incident on his podcast “High Limit Room.” The #5 driver joined his co-hosts, Brad Sweet and Dillon Welch, as the trio discussed the recent altercation.
The Legacy Motor Club driver disclosed his intentions by confronting Chastain in the pit lane. Surprisingly, the rookie driver spilled some details in an interview after the incident, also mentioning Chase Elliott. Reacting to the aftermath of the altercation, Larson joins his HMS teammate as he gives a stern warning to Chastain!

Kyle Larson hints at retaliation as he has strong words for Chastain!
The fistfight on Sunday was not just another dramatic episode. For Noah Gragson, it’s more of a message to the whole roster and particularly Ross Chastain. The #42 driver revealed his thoughts after the incident.
Chastain’s aggressive style of driving and his attitude off the tracks have earned him quite a number of foes over the years. With the rookie Gragson latest to the list, Larson joined his friends on his podcast to discuss the heated exchange. While Sweet was impressed by Chastain’s right hook, the HMS speedster was all praise for the youngster’s iron chin.
Larson said, “I’ll say, man, Noah he ate that punch really well, like I’ll give him that.” Sweet also acknowledged the granite chin.
Impressed by the fighter in the rookie driver, Larson said, “It sounded hard and he didn’t make any flinch at all, he was coming, so yeah.”
Despite, Chastain’s punch landing flush on Gragson’s chin. Larson also gives out a bold message to the #1 driver. He said, “I think, like, Noah’s crazy. Like, it’s not done. I don’t think he’s just gonna fight him on track. He’ll find Ross wherever.”

Well, this here is the tricky part. The post-fight interview of the 24-year-old had some interesting bits to it. While the whole debacle ignited over Chastain bumping Gragson on the final lap, it certainly has some backdrop to it as Gragson revealed in his interview.

The rookie driver mentioned the advice from Chase Elliott and other drivers, urging him to confront the aggressive Chastain for his frequent bumps.
Gragson said, “When you got guys like Chase Elliott and other guys telling you to go beat his a**. Everyone’s just sick and tired of him but nobody has the balls to go up to him and get him. So I’m tired of it.”
This revelation had many in the community raising their eyebrows.
While it looks like the rookie was instigated by Elliott, this is certainly not the first time Gragson has had a throwdown. Over the years in NASCAR Xfinity Series, it has come to be known that young Noah Gragson is the type of guy to throw first and talk next! Harrison Burton and Daniel Hemric both found this out the hard way when they decided to confront the 24-year-old.

While on both occasions Gragson may not be the one initiating the fights but he certainly holds a solid chin and never backs down. With such controversies rocking the NASCAR nation, fans are certainly thrilled for the next event as they can be sure that the young driver will be high on adrenaline.
