What did Jeff Gordon say?
In a recent episode of Rubbin is Racing podcast, Gordon said, “So prior to the Bristol races last year, I was sitting on Chase’s pit box. They were getting ready to get in the car and start the engines up to go race. And so we had, you know, an executive from Hooters […] he’d never been to Bristol before. And I remember sitting there with him and I’m looking at all because it’s a stadium. It’s this arena. It’s unbelievable the energy when you have a big crowd.”
Right then, Elliott interjected, stating that the particular Bristol night race had probably been the best and most energetic one in a long time, with a fantastic crowd.
